As many are aware early Sunday morning, September 12, 2021, 13 year old Kaelyn Carter “KK” was involved in a devastating car accident east of Merrill, OR on Highway 39 where she suffered critical injuries. Kaelyn was flown from Skylakes Medical Center to Doernbechers Children Hospital where she has now undergone 4 procedures, is surviving on life support, and remains in critical care for the time being. She is joined by her mother, Jackie and father, Tyler. Her 5 year old little sister remains with KK’s grandparents as Jackie and Tyler devote all of their time to KK’s recovery. At this time the family is asking for prayers, positive thoughts, and support as they migrate through this horrific time. The love and support of this growing community has been remarkable and greatly appreciated.
